Verizon unveils new Droid smart phone

The Droid 2 is twice as fast as the original Droid which hit the market just 10 months ago. It also has a new, centered keyboard.

The Droid 2 will cost about $100 after rebate when it goes on sale Thursday. Online presales begin Wednesday.
