Richard Rivera, 37, is accused of possessing multiple lewd images of children under the age of 13.
Investigators say they recovered the pornography from Rivera's computer at his home on West Montrose in the city's Uptown neighborhood.
The case is being investigated by the Chicago Police Department's Special Investigations Unit.
