Pill could give relief to extreme allergy sufferers

Allergy shots work by exposing people over time to small amounts of the pollen that can cause allergic symptoms. These newer therapies also seem to create the same effect. They have been become commonly used in Europe.

Researchers in the U.S. say more research is needed to determine which patients might be most likely to benefit.
