Lawsuit: Newest gun ordinance unconstitutional

August 16, 2010 (CHICAGO) They argue that since the ordinance bans gun ranges from operating within the city limits a citizen cannot meet the training requirement needed for gun ownership without leaving the city.

A "Second Amendment Foundation" executive calls it a "catch 22" scenario that discourages Chicago residents from owning a gun.

So far, city lawyers have not responded to calls asking for reaction to the lawsuit.
