Hundreds of children attended a back-to-school fair Friday and went home with many of the supplies they'll need for class.Families lined up outside the Congress Theater on N. Milwaukee waiting to get inside.
The event was hosted by Chicago Alderman Joe Moreno and State Representative Maria Berrios.
About 2,000 children received backpacks loaded with school supplies.
Vendors offered free services such as immunizations and haircuts.
