Elected officials in Justice vote to reduce salary

August 23, 2010 (JUSTICE, Ill.)

Elected officials in southwest suburban Justice will vote on a resolution Monday that would suspend their own salaries for the rest of the year.

They say they want to show residents that they are doing all they can to help offset the continuing economic challenges facing state and local communities.

If all of the elected officials support the salary suspensions, the village will save $28,000.
