Notre Dame: Ex-prof used grant money for porn

August 26, 2010 (SOUTH BEND, Ind.) Former electrical engineering professor Oliver Collins filed a lawsuit over his termination.

School officials said an investigation concluded that Collins used research grant money to take pornographic pictures. The university alleges that Collins used $190,000 in grant money and university funds on unauthorized purchases of camera equipment, computer equipment and a printer used to produce pornographic photos.

Notre Dame filed court documents about Collins' alleged abuses of university funding after Collins filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the school following his termination.

Notre Dame is asking that Collins' lawsuit be dismissed.
