According to the Chicago Sun-Times, David Hernandez was arrested Thursday because prosecutors say he submitted a fake doctor's note indicating he was being treated for cancer to stay out of jail.
Hernandez had been out free on bond. But that could be revoked at a status hearing next week.
Hernandez pleaded guilty to diverting money to Chicago Sports Webio, an Internet-based sports-talk station.
