The girl attends pre-kindergarten at Woodland Elementary School in Joliet. The Joliet grade school district requires bus drivers to check their buses before leaving the vicinity of the school.
2 to be fired after leaving Joliet girl on bus
September 3, 2010 (JOLIET, Ill.) The Grand Prairie Transit workers allegedly took the girl to the company's bus barn in Lockport Wednesday.
When they realized she was still on the bus, they brought her back to school about two hours after first picking her up.
