A witness called 911. Greg Buckner, 49, was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Police are working to get a clear description of the vehicle to help find the driver.
Bicyclist fatally struck during rainstorm
September 3, 2010 (CHICAGO) The man was riding in the 8300-block of South Chicago Avenue when a vehicle hit him and left the scene. Family members say the father of five was on his way home from visiting a friend.
