Gov. Quinn names new head of Corrections

The governor's office says Taylor has worked in state government for five years. She became an acting assistant director in the corrections department in May.

Before that, Taylor worked in the governor's budget office. She replaces Michael Randle, who came under fire after some violent offenders were freed as part of an early release program.
