Bond was denied Monday for a 16-year-old Chicago high school student charged as an adult in the murder of a classmate.

Sixteen-year-old Pharoah Morris is charged with first degree murder and aggravated assault with a gun. He is accused of shooting 16-year-old DeAntonio Goss last Wednesday near the 8600-block of South Saginaw.

Police say Morris was sent home from Bowen High School earlier in the day for fighting and on his way back, they say he shot Goss and one of his friends. The friend was not seriously hurt.
