Fifteen Chicago chefs are getting out of the kitchen and into the classroom.

They will be mentoring high school culinary students taking part in the Cooking up Change competition.

On Monday night, the chefs learned more about their role in the contest. It challenges students to prepare healthy school lunches.

Previous winners have had their meals served in schools around the country.
