Betty White promotes Doritos ad challenge

September 17, 2010 Actress Betty White just picked up her 7th career EMMY award and has a brand new hit comedy, "Hot in Cleveland," several new movies, shows no sign of slowing down and everybody seems to love her. Betty joins us this morning from Los Angeles to talk about her surging career and what she's doing to tell fans about a chance to create their own Super Bowl ads, starting now.

In 2009 two unemployed brothers defied the odds and won $1,000,000 in the annual Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl" contest when their self-made Super Bowl ad topped the prestigious USA TODAY Ad Meter. This past game day, one young fan took home $600,000 in the contest with the No. 2 spot, proving once again that the "Joes" can compete with the "pros."

For this year's challenge, the contest has nabbed recent Super Bowl ad star and TV legend Betty White to inspire America to not only take back the top spot with a fan-made ad, but sweep the top three! And this time, there's more opportunity than ever for budding film-makers and aspiring ad wizards to win big, including a surprise new twist and major cash on the line.
