Mayor Richard Daley departed Friday for his overseas trade mission to Asia. He will spend a week in China and South Korea.The mayor says he is hoping to secure investment money for a variety of infrastructure improvements in Chicago. One of them is a high-speed rail link between the Loop and O'Hare Airport.
The mayor's trip is being sponsored by World Business Chicago and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
