Schedules for outbound and inbound trains have been adjusted to allow trains to share a single track. The new schedule goes into effect Sunday.
Also, passengers taking inbound Union Pacific North trains have to use a new temporary platform at the Ravenswood station located on the north side of Lawrence Avenue. The temporary platform will accommodate longer trains. Metra hopes it will make boarding faster and keep trains on schedule.
Outbound riders will continue to use the existing platform.
