Death penalty could be sought in fire that killed 7

September 22, 2010 Prosecutors say building owner Lawrence Myers, 60, and building manager Marion Andre Comier, 47, set the fire to collect insurance money.

The two Cicero residents are being held in the Cook County Jail and are scheduled to appear in court Oct. 27 for a conference to ensure that all the lawyers involved are qualified to handle a death penalty case.

The victims of the Feb. 14 fire were all 20 and younger, and included a 3-day-old boy.
