Aldi says it has finished a national review and removed debit card terminals that may have been compromised to steal customers' payment information. The Batavia-based grocery chain hasn't specified which stores were involved, although police in Montgomery and St. Charles say they have taken reports of debit card fraud from local stores.

Earlier this month, authorities notified Aldi after getting complaints of debit card fraud from consumers in Wheeling and Buffalo Grove.
