You think your daily commute is bad? A new study says it could be much worse.

The study shows commuters in the Chicago area travel shorter distances to work compared with people in other major cities.

The report from "CEOs for Cities" finds Chicago-area residents spend the least time stuck in rush-hour traffic of all the cities in the report.

In fact, commuters spend 40 fewer hours a year on the road compared to the average American.
