Matteson man charged with attempted murder

Francis Costello, 55, allegedly stabbed the 70-year-old victim multiple times with a kitchen knife. The victim fought back and escaped after she bit the attacker's hand.

Costello allegedly admitted to police that he stabbed the woman.
