Claypool campaigns at South Side church

October 17, 2010 (CHICAGO) Forrest Claypool, a Cook County Board commissioner, spoke to thousands at the House of Hope mega-church on Chicago's south Side.

State Sen. Rev. James Meeks, who is pastor of the church, says Governor Quinn and his Republican opponent Bill Brady will speak to his congregation next Sunday.

In addition to Claypool, the assessor's race includes Democrat Joseph Berrios, Republican Sharon Strobeck-Eckersall, and Green Party candidate Robert Grota.
