Burnside was a co-owner of Reese's Lounge on West 87th Street in Chicago. A sketch of the possible suspect was released last week.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
Task force assembled in case of slain businessman
October 17, 2010 (RIVERDALE, Ill.) Melvin Burnside, 51, was shot at his home early Thursday. Police had made no arrest as of Sunday night. Authorities say they hope the task force will help solve the crime.
