Artist Dr. Margaret Burroughs is already considered a legend by many, but Friday night, it became official.The Art Institute of Chicago honored Burroughs with its "Legends and Legacy" award. Burroughs co-founded the South Side Community Arts Center.
She and her late husband founded the DuSable Museum of African American History.
