Officer Donnie Lewis was taken into custody Monday. He was off duty at the time.
The 57-year old Lewis is charged with two counts of aggravated battery. He is accused of punching a security officer after a dispute in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Butterfield Road in Hillside.
