There was a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday at Chicago's Rowe-Clark Math and Science Academy.

The school's new Exelon gymnasium will be built to U.S. Green Building Council standards.

Students are very excited about having the new gym. It's expected to be completed by June of next year.

Rowe-Clark, 3645 W. Chicago Ave., is ranked No. 5 out of all 93 open enrollment high schools in Chicago based on ACT scores.
