Bed bugs turning up in Loop office buildings

It appears bed bugs have made the leap from homes to some Loop office buildings.

Last week, all 20 floors were treated at the Chicago Public Schools headquarters at 125 South Clark after an employee reported being bitten.

JP Morgan Chase reports it had a small issue with bed bugs about two weeks ago in its tower at 10 South Dearborn.

Experts warn the blood-sucking pests can easily hitch a ride in purses and coats from infested homes.
