Experts suggest losing Daylight Saving Time

That's what new research reveals.

It finds putting the clocks back in winter is not only bad for health but it wastes energy and increases pollution.

So, experts say, putting an end to the practice in northern areas could bring major health and environmental benefits.

The report in the British Medical Journal says keeping the same time would increase the number of accessible daylight hours, boosting vitamin D levels as well as encouraging more people to exercise more.

Experts say it's an accessible, low-cost, little-to-no-harm intervention.
