Report: Cost of turkey, veggies up this year

The cost of a turkey this year is about $1.05 per pound. That's an increase of nearly 33-percent, according to the Food Institute. There are also 2-percent fewer turkeys available this thanksgiving season.

It will also cost consumers more to gobble up some popular Thanksgiving vegetables. Yellow onions and sweet potatoes are up more than 22-percent. And white potatoes have gone up by 17-percent.
