The officers approached a group of people in the South Side neighborhood after a man allegedly pulled out a gun. When the officers ran after him, authorities say he pointed the weapon at officers. One of the officers opened fire, shooting the man.
The man remains in stable condition.
No officers were injured in the shooting.
