The surprise announcement came during a press conference at Wrigley Field Tuesday afternoon.
Owner Grant DePorter said the relationship between the restaurant and the owner of the building on Sheffield was "like a bad marriage."
The restaurant eventually plans to find a new location near Wrigley Field.
