Man charged with jeweler's murder

Chicago police have charged a man with the murder of a jewelry business owner in his Northwest Side home last month.

Leszek Pawelkowski, 41, appeared in bond court Thursday morning.

Police say Pawelkowski broke into the home of 57-year-old Shia Miller tied up miller and beat him. Miller's teenage son was also tied up but not hurt. Miller later died of his injuries.

Detectives found the suspect's fingerprints on duct tape found at the crime scene.

Police are still searching for a second suspect.
