Grammer to play Chicago mayor on TV

November 19, 2010 Kelsey Grammer will star as the mayor of Chicago in a new drama series to air on cable's Starz channel.

The show is called "Boss," but it has no connection to the Mike Royko biography of the first Mayor Daley, which is also called "Boss."

The Chicago Tribune reports that Starz bought the show from WME, which is the Hollywood firm run by Ari Emanuel, the brother of real-life Chicago mayoral candidate Rahm Emanuel.
