Twelfth Ward Alderman George Cardenas and 1st Ward Alderman Joe Moreno attended a City Hall news conference to announce their support.
Chico said he's also backed by 25th Ward Alderman Danny Solis.
Chico said, if Chicago gets a gambling casino, the city should own the license and land, and proceeds should go to the city budget, and to improve Chicago schools.
