A major cereal maker is cutting sugar -- again.

General Mills is lowering the amount of sugar in its breakfast cereal to no more than 10 grams per serving. That's down from 11 grams a year ago.

The company makes of Cheerios, Cocoa Puffs, Trix and Lucky Charms.

Officials say they hope to eventually lower sugar in cereals to single-digit levels.
