The Chicago Tribune reports former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld was chosen to receive the school's alumni achievement award and hall of honor.
But a former school board member and a student asked the school to reconsider.
They claim the award is inappropriate because of Rumsfeld's incorrect statements about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
