Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan and attorneys general across country sued Direct TV over the way its offers are marketed to consumers. The lawsuit claims the satellite provider did not accurately describe its promotional offers to people who sign up for their services. Some customers were overcharged for cancelling service.
