Some residents had complained it wasn't a good fit for the neighborhood because the waitresses wouldn't be wearing much clothing.
The liquor commission okayed the license Thursday afternoon but with conditions.
The restaurant will have to close at midnight and servers will have to wear full t-shirts and shorts.
