Police hold toy drive for kids who survived violence

The Chicago Police Department got into the holiday spirit Friday to help some deserving children.It held its first ever toy drive for sick children and families who are survivors of domestic violence.

Many of the toys that are collected will be given to officers who respond to domestic violence calls and they will give the gifts to children at the home.

The drive was also hosted by the Starlight Foundation and the National Organization of Black Enforcement Executives.
