Yule Log Hunt at Morton Arboretum

For visitors to the Morton Arboretum in suburban Lisle, it was a little like searching for a needle in a haystack.

Sunday was the annual Yule Log Hunt.

Competitors had to follow a series of clues to find the Yule log hidden somewhere in the 1700-acre park.

Once the Yule log was found, it was taken to the visitors' center where half was burned.

The other half will be saved as kindling for next year's fire.
