The city of Chicago has only one bid in its effort to privatize the Taste of Chicago.

The city's procurement department confirms that the city has received only one proposal, from Celebrate Chicago, L.L.C., and they are currently reviewing that bid.

The Chicago Sun-Times says patrons would pay $20 admission if City Hall accepts the bid.

Fans wanting to attend big-name concerts would have to pay up to $65 a head to attend.

The city lost $7 million on the Taste and six other lakefront festivals over the last three years, according to the Sun-Times.
