In an interview with Crain's Chicago Business Justice Anne Burke defended her ability to be fair. She is the wife of Alderman Ed Burke who is a longtime supporter of candidate Gery Chico in the mayoral race.
In response Justice Burke said, "aren't we beyond that? Women have minds of their own."
