With that in mind, voters do not need a reason or excuse to vote early.
There are 51 sites across the city for early voting.
Those in wards where court challenges are ongoing will get a note reminding them that if the candidates change, their early vote is final.
"If the ballot in your ward may change because there are still a couple of aldermanic cases still in court, we want to make sure that people understand there are no do-overs," said Jim Allen, spokesman for the Chicago Election Board. "Once you cast your ballot, you're done. You can't come back to change or re-vote your ballot for any reason."
