3 injured in police car crash

Two on-duty officers were hurt in the crash which happened near 111th Street and Champlain.

According to Chicago police, the officers were en route to a call in an unmarked car with its lights and sirens activated when a female driver turned left in front of the police vehicle.

The woman's vehicle was t-boned, and she was ticketed for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.

All three victims went in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The officers' conditions had stabilized by about 12 a.m. Monday. They were later released.

The woman who was injured was in stable condition.
