State and federal officials will meet in Springfield next week to review how much it cost to remove the snow from the Blizzard of 2011.

The meeting includes the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and it could prompt Washington to help local governments pay for cleanup.

Illinois is also working with the National Weather Service to determine which counties had the heaviest snowfall and could be eligible for help.

Federal assistance could cover up to 75 percent of the cleanup cost.
