ABC7's Hungry Hound hosts AIDS fundraiser

Chicago is celebrating Mardi Gras Saturday night.

The Friends Against AIDS Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball is a major bash at Venue One in the West Loop.

Some of the city's top restaurants such as Blackbird, Custom House and the Chicago Firehouse created signature dishes and cocktails for the fundraiser.

ABC7's Hungry Hound Steve Dolinsky is emceeing the event.

Friends Against AIDS is committed to eliminating pediatric HIV/AIDS in the Chicago area through treatment and prevention programs.

It's associated with the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital.
