8 workers hospitalized in La Grange chemical spill

Eight workers at a west suburban factory were taken to the hospital after a chemical spill about 6:30 a.m. Monday at Grayhill Incorporated in La Grange.

The factory makes keypads for electronic devices. The workers became ill after they were exposed to acetone.

They complained of nausea and dizziness and were taken to Advocate La Grange Memorial Hospital.

None of the injuries appeared to be serious.
