The Pritzker Military Library paid tribute to a young war hero from Chicago.

The family of Milton Lee Olive Jr. presented the library with a portrait of Olive by artist Casper Rojas. Olive was just 18 when he was killed in Vietnam in 1965. He smothered a grenade with his body, saving the lives of four fellow soldiers.

Chicago's Olive Park is named in his honor.

Olive was the first African American soldier to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor during the Vietnam war.
