Major League Baseball is honoring the legacy of Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson.

Robinson broke baseball's color barrier on this date in 1947.

The White Sox will have a ceremony on the field before Friday night's game at US Cellular Field.

The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Robinson's granddaughter.

All of the Sox and Angels players will wear the number 42, which was Robinson's number and has been retired by every big league team.
