Dyer, 18, was fatally shot at a birthday party in Austin in the 5900-block of West Thomas Street on Saturday, March 5. Three others were hurt.
His parents pleaded for help from the public shortly after Dyer's death, but no one has come forward. Dyer was not a gang member, according to the Chicago Police Department.
