The multi-million dollar renovation will expand the store by an additional 1,500 square feet. It will also feature new lighting, floors and display cases.
It's one of 10 renovations planned at Macy's locations nationwide this year.
Macy's Water Tower store originally opened as Marshall Field's in 1975.
This is the first remodeling of the store since 1996.
